Mini Mae Mae

First words are an exciting milestone, but what happens before that, and how can we support babies on their journey toward saying their first word? Mini Mae Mae is a class designed to target the pre-word skills that babies are developing in the early months. We'll play, sing and move while working on the foundational skills for language development.

Our Current Cohort

  • When and Where:

    • Saturdays, 12:05-12:40 pm

      • Dates: 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1, 8/8, 8/15​

      • At 32 Court Street, Suite 701

    • ​Ages 5-11 months 

    •  Led by a speech therapist on our team​

  • Cost: $240 for the 6-week session

    • Current Client Discount:

Families currently receiving services with Speech Language Play NYC, along with siblings of current clients, receive a discounted rate for Mini Mae Mae cohorts.

Is a caregiver required to be with their child throughout the class?​
Caregivers stay for the class because it's a learning experience for you, too! You’ll get simple, practical strategies to support your toddler’s communication during play at home.

Who would benefit from this class?

  • This class is beneficial for any child aged 5-11 months and their caregiver. 

  • Families who are interested in learning what and how to play with their babies and create an enriching environment

Will there be opportunities to ask the speech therapist questions?
Yes! Caregivers are welcome to ask questions at any point during class.
